WILL KANSAS CITY P&L DISTRICT FINALLY PAY UP AMID PROPERTY TAX SPIKE?!?!

Once again our blog community has all the angles covered and offers insight that no other publication can match when it comes to the Jackson County Property Tax CRISIS underway.

SPECIAL THANKS TO THIS TKC READER FOR AN IMPORTANT REMINDER AND THE P&L DISTRICT HOPEFULLY PAYING THEIR FAIR SHARE!!!

Here's the word . . .

"With all these issues on reassessment the real question is how much did the Power & Light District assessment increase? Because the Cordish Company had the assessment reduced substantially during the great recession and according to all the downtown cheerleaders, downtown is booming. So the assessment should have recovered and (moved) above the original $60 million. The increase in property taxes paid should reduce some of the $15 million (annually paid) from the general fund of Kansas City."

  3. No body willingly comes to killa shitty, not without giving huge breaks to the owners who then stab their employees in the back by them having to pay obscene taxes to live and work here, and subjecting them to the worst schools in the country and jeopardize it their lives in the 5th most dangerous city in the country.
