What's Wrong With Raytown?!?!

Reactionaries might tend to cite "changing" demographics but the numbers have been mostly stagnant for the past 10 years. Yes, Raytown is diverse but a closer look about lower tax revenues and reduced police funding provides a better look at the current municipal crisis. Checkit:

State audit of Raytown to begin this week

RAYTOWN, Mo. - An audit of the city of Raytown begins Wednesday. It was initiated after more than 1,600 residents signed a asking the state to examine city finances. A staff member from Missouri State Auditor Nicole Galloway's office appeared before the Raytown Board of Aldermen Tuesday night to explain the process.

  1. Raytown is following the Kansas City Kansas model. The city, school district and fire district have all given up on the city's future and are now just fighting over whatever they can take.

  5. yes, it takes about 10-15 years for demographic changes to have an effect on the city as the diversity gets entrenched into the community and slowly erodes away trust from the residents and seeps into local businesses and schools

  6. ^^thanks for that. What's the prognosis when the geezers set in. How long before they fuck it up which they always do. Every time.

  7. Geezers are the only thing keeping the city afloat, all those section ape negroes came in and raped the taxes away from the schools, police and fire departments and now the infrastructure. No neighborhood or city can survive without the whites, don’t believe me? Look at killa shitty as your best example of blacks ruining everything.

  9. The leadership in Raytown was once at least civic minded. They may not have been the sharpest but they had the best interest of the city. Now its just a revolving door of political hacks whose main goal in life is to get elected to a MO house seat.
