TKC READER: SHOULD QUINTON LUCAS FINALLY 'SETTLE DOWN' & BUY A HOME IN KANSAS CITY NOW THAT HE'S MAYOR?!?

Not everybody can afford property in Kansas City but the of Mayor brings a decent $100K+ salary so MAYBE it's time for this local power player to FINALLY make a commitment.

A KICK-ASS TKC READER offers this question:

"Quinton Lucas, the Mayor-Elect, also owns no personal real estate in KCMO. Isn't that a bit odd?

"Not only that, but Quinton Lucas has been renting a unit in a City-owned apartment building which pays no personal property taxes. Is that leading by example? Once he assumes the Mayor's duties do you think he'll move into a privately owned property? And what about that lecturer's position at the KU Law School? He's going to resign that position isn't he?

"Inquiring minds want to know."

Accordingly, here's the latest celebration of the politico and his promises . . .

  1. Nah, the taxes suck. Renting is the way to go until if you're not really here for the long term.

  2. Now he can stop pretending to live at 18th Vine, move into a more swanky place because he can afford it on the Mayors salary for the next 4 yrs. If not buy a place, at least get his mom a nice place to stay.. it is clear that there won't be any female companions other than her.

  3. He doesn’t need a house here. He needs to buy something within walking distance of his favorite gay bar in Lawrence. No more DUIs that way.

^^Do TKC Readers have four more years of this homophobic nonsense to endure?

We already have the "Petersucker" retard to bore us.

At least, said retard can retire his "sLIE" stupid.

sorry but a $100K isn't enough to afford a home in any decent Kansas City neighborhood.

  6. Why buy a home in KC? He'll be a Congressman soon and needs to save for a place in DC.

  7. Quinton LIEcas.

And yes Byron, four years of racism and homophobia. Because negroes and faggots ain't human.

Quinton is a fag. There's a penis in his mouth RIGHT NOW.

And you 10:03 are a low life piece of sub-human shit.

Did you watch the Reparations Hearing, today?

Actually, this defeat was a HUGE WIN for the LGBTQ Community. Probably for the first time ever, an LGBTQ was judged on her merits, & not on her sexual orientation.

  10. honestly encourage the new mayor to go looking for new house so he can see what the rest of us go through when REALLY looking for affordable housing. it's rough out there.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Taxpayer subsidized housing for the mayor? We're not off to a good start.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Ownership in not a requirement. That's stupid.

As long as he lives inside the city limits, he is fine.

I don't care if owns, rents, squats at a drug house, or sleeps on a piece of cardboard over a venting grate.

Why is this anyone's business? Inquiring minds want to know.

  14. I was going to vote for Justus, then I saw the debates. She was such a slob. Fat and unappealing. Fatter at 40 than two normal people.

We already have a reputation as a fat town. We didn't need two huge-fat mayors in a row.

That's why I voted for the Barstow two-fer. Shrodinger's mayor. A man who was either homeless or educated at the finest schools in the city depending on who he is speaking to. A man once nicknamed Squidward. A man who showed up to law school classes fashionably late when our attendance is required by ABA rule. A true leader for a city who deserves him.

  15. 12:08,

Nice spin to Jolie getting crushed and that this was a win for the LGBTQ@IAXYZ community.

You are an idiot. Just how do you know that she was not voted down because she is a lesbian? You don't.

    Lucas kicked her ass.

  16. Why would Lucas buy anything here? It’s too damn dangerous to own or live in good ole killa shitty, besides, he’s gotten away with living and working in Lawrence the whole time he pretended to be a clowncil member, why change now.

  17. Shut up bLIEron, you judgemental piece of shit, she got her ass handed to her because she’s pro gay and pro abortion, you lose, we win!

    ReplyDelete
  18. ^^Really?? YOU win?? Bitch please. Neither side gives a fuck about a pants-shitting geezer who spends his life on a blog living vicariously through others. Run along now.

  19. it took sly forever to buy a place here, why should the new mayor be any different?

  20. ANSWERS FOR 2:41AM and 5:30AM

You should care, because it goes directly to personal commitment to KCMO.

The fact is that Quinton has very little skin in the game. Doesn't own a KC home, thus no property taxes, not married, no children in KC schools. If he had lost on Tuesday, he could have moved to Lawrence on Wednesday morning.

Lucas successfully exploited KC's East-side for his political ambitions without ever putting down real roots.

    ReplyDelete
  21. and yet nobody cares. Weird.

    ReplyDelete
  22. ^^^^ You're here. You care and you're a bitch. Lucas will be brilliant. The very best. Sorry to the haters who were beat by him. He is the WINNER!

    ReplyDelete
  23. He probably can't live at the 18th & Vine apartments too much longer. Or maybe he can, be like Cory Booker and have your mayoral security detail turn into nd facto security detail.
