Quick election tidbit as we get down to the wire on this GOTV weekend.

NOTICE THAT MAYOR SLY HAS BEEN QUIET FOR THE PAST WEEK?!?!? TURNS OUT HE WAS DRAGGING JOLIE JUSTUS DOWN BY PICKING A PERSONAL FIGHT WITH QUINTON LUCAS AND HER TEAM POLITELY ASKED HIM TO STIFLE!!!
As in 70s icon Archie Bunker chiding Edith to stifle herself. Respectfully of course . . .
And so we don't expect to hear much more out of Mayor Sly given that his popularity is now in the toilet and his lame duck angst isn't helpful to anyone.

I'd like to say I so looking forward to him being gone. But sadly I think worse is about to enter office.

Either of the two candidates for mayor are jokes and will be terrible for KCMO, but you have to at least hope that they have the guts to let Sly disappear.
