Report: Lenexa Mom Gave Her Son Bleach To Cure Autism Because Of The Internets

A horrible instance of misinformation impacting locals that will be useful in corporations eventually limiting online access. Take a look:

Fake science led a mom to feed bleach to her autistic sons - and police did nothing to stop her

Laurel Austin documented her son Jeremy's first dosing of chlorine dioxide on YouTube. In the 30-second video, broadcast to 4,465 subscribers, Jeremy, 27, sits at a kitchen table as his mother narrates his mood. Then his arms seem to involuntarily twist around one another and he screams into his forearm before taking a bite of a banana.

Bleach

It's got what kids crave

Will Laurel Austin be charged with murder after her sons die from drinking Bleach? It sure doesn't sound like the Lenexa Police Department is up to the task of determining whether deliberately poisoning someone is harmful.

^^^ I agree.
If Ms. Austin had only had a smaller ego, had kept her mouth shut, and had stayed off the Internet about this, she could have murdered both her sons with no consequences or repercussions at all.

I can't believe how incredibly dumb some people are. I saw a girl on the news last night profiled because she burned herself doing an internet challenge. The challenge was to light yourself on fire and quickly put it out. Well, she didn't get it extinguished quickly and badly burned herself. How an someone think ingesting bleach would fix anything? Moreover, it seems suspicious to me four of her kids have autism.

I'm no expert I will admit, but I have a great deal of suspicion about "autism".

I tend to kind of agree with this:
