KCPD TRIUMPH TUESDAY: WILL IT LAST???

There's a litany of good news today for Kansas City's finest but every win streak comes to an end. And so we ask . . .

WILL THE SUMMER GET TOUGHER FOR KCPD AMID RISING HOMICIDE COUNT & THE CONSTANT THREAT THAT URBAN CORE TENSION WILL REIGNITE?!?

Already we notice entertainment district push back from both urban & progressive local denizens.

Remember that the curfew always elicits some tough KCMO discussion and resentment of local laws and the people who risk their lives to enforce them.

But for now, we share just a few of the nicer news links worth a peek:

Social Media Po-Po Success

A Serious Purpose Is Behind All Those Twitter Jokes From Police Departments Around Kansas City

On National Doughnut Day last week, the Kansas City Missouri Police Department's Twitter account posted a joke about cops and doughnuts. In a photograph, several rows of yellow long johns spelled out "Caution Do Not Cross," along with the message: "For some reason our crime tape keeps disappearing."

  3. The recipe is: A negro, a hot summer night, a porch, a 6 pack of Malt lickies, felons who have illegal guns, Bake at 31st and prospect on the hood of a stolen car at high noon, the taste of death is so tastey in KCMO because what else will they eat, and negro politions reward such behavior. Only in KCMO

  4. The summer will get tougher for KCPD as homicides this year will be a all time record. The city needs to get rid of the fire dept and the huge waste of money that is, and focus on the police department and give them the funds to do their job. IN this town a fire truck gets washed and polished and a cop drives around in a peice of shit. KCMO gov doesnt care about the citizens, they only care about the votes that the unions get them
, well times are changing and voters are slowly waking the fuck up.

  5. If Kansas City voters want to curb the crime and homicides, the department that can fix that needs to get the most finacial attention from tax dollars, its not rocket science, and yes the fire dept will be pissed when they have to come to accountability and realize the POLICE department is a greater value to the citizens with all of the killing going on here. If its on fire let that bitch burn, isnt that what insurance is for? So many minions have no clue how corruption keeps them poor and controlled in life!!
