Northeast News has AN IMPRESSIVE TWITTER ACCOUNT that worth checking for those of us who indulge in social media time wasting.
In a recent update they captured KCPD Mounted Patrol "hoofing it" down Independence, Ave. as part of the renewed effort to focus on crime fighting over parades and crowd control.
The impact is up for debate but expect to see more police horses throughout the urban core this Summer.

Since SLie and Jermaine will no longer be in city hall they can clean up what the horses leave on the street. This way they will be still feeding at the public trough.
