KC Pet Project SOURCE: KC Pet Project KC Pet Project said it is starting to see overheated dogs coming into the shelter.Animal Control brought in three overheated puppies Friday afternoon, along with the mother and two male dogs, all seized during an animal cruelty investigation, the shelter said."Our veterinary team provided emergency care to them placing the puppies on cool towels to get their body temperatures down and gave them fluids.
