  1. This fiasco may be the most recent terrible mess, but remember that the jail project is looming on the horizon.
Which will be a brand new opportunity for incompetence, insider deals, infighting and showboating by the legislators, cost overruns, and pretty much any other failures that you can think of that screw the taxpayers.
    Again.
When government becomes nothing more than a jobs program for the same little crowd of incompetent clowns, it's pretty easy to predict the results.

  4. I am guessing Frank White will be promoting this assessment director. That's how it works with him. Screw up or break the law and get promoted or get a big fat raise just as long as you kiss his fat ass.

  5. The women who said Jackson County properties were under valued for years is full of BS. Anyone who falls for that crap needs to wise up. Property values in most areas have actually gone down. People paid way too much money in some areas and now are upside down. but they are using this as a tool against property owners. Don't let them get by with this.

  6. Many people are wondering why this happened. I will tell you:

Frank White is under water re: federal and county taxes. The guy owes over a hundred thousand dollars and was forced to sell a bunch of his memorabilia. He is lashing out at everyone and is setting the world on fire because he is having a bad time in his personal life.

Memories around here are very short and people forget that as recently as December of 2018 Frank White was struggling to pay his taxes, including property taxes.

When a person is down and out they prefer to see everyone else suffer. And this was his plan, perfectly executed. You might think that Frahnk White doesn't know what he is doing, and in terms of being a good steward of the public interest he is truly a colossal failure. However in terms of executing his plan to destroy the happiness of ordinary citizens, making them on a "level playing field" with his loser self, he is batting 1.000.

Idiots who voted him into office get what they deserve. See you at the tax auction in three years!!!

PS: Thanks Frank! This is making for a tremendous buying opportunity!

  7. Time to do a petition to eliminate the charter and return to more elected officials directly accountable to voters and not beholden to the ones that appointed them.

  8. That explains a lot about blacks, the self pity thing makes sense, they don’t try to improve their lives and they take it out on people who work hard, have a nice house and cars, they think it should be given to them and not have to work for it, your fault not anybody else’s.

  9. She said it extends to all parts of JACO. Wonder if that includes the land where places like the Plaza, the Loews Hotel, the P&L District, etc all sit on. Pretty certain those properties are enjoying some well below value assessments and will likely continue to do so due to agreements made with our "trusted" officials while our taxes will likely continue to skyrocket, along with our water bills, sales taxes, etc....
