Kansas City Talker Kietzman Suffers Listener Rebuke For Cold-Hearted Comparison

Local sports discussion is mostly a waste of time but a few locals still have worthwhile audiences that challenge their broadcasters to keep higher standards that Internets chatter. Recently, a local talker irked his fans with a cruel juxtaposition that immediately earned push back. Checkit:

Radio host Kevin Kietzman compares Andy Reid's son's death to Tyreek Hill case

It generally seems like a bad idea to bring up a coach's son's death as proof of that coach's failures, but that sure didn't stop Kansas City's Sports Radio 810 WHB host Kevin Kietzman from doing just that Monday.

  1. You guys still listen to local terrestrial radio?

    That's cute.

  2. Kietzman is such a pollyanna tool. Love how sanctimonious he is considering he got divorced because he was banging the secretary at work. Broke up his family to marry the other woman. Let's also not forget this time last year he was beating the Chiefs up daily on his show for letting Alex Smith go and wondering aloud if Chad Henne was the best QB on the roster. What Kietzman does on air now is a disgrace, he's been mailing it in for years with zero show prep and it shows. Listen to Petro before him a d the difference is night and day. You know who Kietzman has become? He's become Don Fortune, the very guy Kietzman used to dog for not giving any effort. That's what KK does now.

    1. To be fair, Petro is a douche as well. Plenty of walking, talking feminine hygiene products at that station.

  3. Not everybody wants to give a bunch of money hungry thugs cash for content that should be free. If you want to be a bitch for Sirius XM. Go right ahead. But don't brag about it. Bitch.

  5. 10:49 I was referring to podcasts you little bitch. Run along now Timmy, you've got a big day at work tomorrow repeating what local sports talk radio said tonight.

  6. 10:48 FTW!!! Kietzman was a dick when I first met him almost 30 years ago and he thought his shit didn't stink and apparently he's still a dick now.

  7. KK has a wide narcissism streak. Anyone who's tried to listen to him in recent years has sensed it. Sports should be viewed with secondary import anyway. I'm over at Hannity and then Ben Shapiro at that time slot working through corruption and fake news...

  8. The guy is one of the owners of the station which 'splains his longevity.

One day I listened entranced to his show. He was telling a black athlete named after Frederick Douglas all about Frederick Douglas. And slavery. Never have I heard such an ignorance of history.

KK is a legend in his own mind.

  9. KK tweeted out "Holy Hat". What a douche.

  10. All of the KU fans want KK out because he's about the only one to call out their BB recruiting shenanigans and other missteps. The station needs someone who gives the listeners this kind of balance. Much of the other on-air talent doesn't want to ruffle any KU feathers because they either went to KU (Bukaty), are afraid to feel the wrath of the president of Union Broadcasting (a KU alum), or are married to a KU grad (Petro) and don't want to disrupt their love lives and/or those sweet family trips to Allen Fieldhouse. If anything here is factual incorrect, please feel free to note it.

  12. So, sooooooo many words KK's trying to use to unsay what he clearly said. If he can't be fired (commenters here saying he's part owner) then do what social media does best, expose the sponsors, bring this to their attention and boycott their goods until the show goes broke.

What a disgusting thing for him to say and what a pig he is for not owning it and not apologizing.

  13. *Listen much? Petro went to Syracuse.*

Read much? Petro is married to a KU grad.
