Kansas City Star Touts 'Moving While Black' Complaint Against Law Enforcement

The newspaper puts the system on trial in their pages and pushes social justice advocacy in their biggest feature story today. Take a look:

In racial bias complaint against Kansas police, man sees deck stacked against him

Karle Robinson is considering his next steps after he says he was racially profiled by a Tonganoxie Police officer. The Kansas Commission on Peace Officers' Standards and Training closed his case without action. They say racial bias cases are hard to prove.

  2. ^^^ oops, my bad, why he was moving at 2:00 in the morning and the fact that the police helped him after they realized what was going on

Not offending Blacks is less of a priority in Kansas.

  4. What a dummy. Only an idiot moves in to a new house at 2AM. White or Black.

Hell, a white man would have been arrested too.

  5. What are the odds that any person, white, black or brown, seen carrying stuff out of an unoccupied house at 2 am is legitimately moving his own possessions? Small I'd say. The police were right to check it out.

One of my friends was stopped by the police for walking while black.

They profiled him, & wanted to know what he was doing in that neighborhood.

He later died from the negligence of a police man who was later fired for corruption.

The last time I moved, without benefit of a vehicle, I was carrying my television down the road & a young black man stopped & drove me the rest of the way home. It turned out he was a Navy veteran, too, so we had a nice conversation along the way.

The worst racial profiling I have ever seen is in the comments of this blog. Totally disgusting, disheartening & embarrassing.

    1. So, you’re profiling people on this blog? Painting everyone on here with the same broad brush. I’m very disappointed in you, Byron.

  8. Yeah, sure Byron.

Look at the article right below this one.

    Repeated verification = justifiable belief.

We are dead, in black on white hate crimes no one wants to talk about.

  9. From time to time, I have to get into a locked yard in a commercial facility at night ~11ish. Probably 8/10 times the popo come by to check it out. That's called doing their jobs. Seems this guy was setting this up? That's a stretch for the planning involved, but no normal people are moving at 2:30AM.

  10. Mr. Robinson, lighten up, .... er, sorry, ....I mean relax!6/24/19, 4:33 PM

Maybe he had real nasty crap or not much possessions to move in, so he didn't want all those new neighbors to see what he's moving in with. He worried they'd have a first impression that he's ghetto.

Prolly was some nearby dogs barking at the unusual activity in the wee hours, so he wasn't too considerate of the day workers and school kids that sleep those hours.

This guy ought to let go the fight and make fun of this. Really. Like do comedy fundraisers about culture clash gaffes and give the funds to benefit his new hometown of Tongie. Laugh it off. Exaggerate the details onstage, like poke fun at the sneakiness of moving in while it's dark outside, especially in a whitey area. Heck, he could get the good neighbors who keep a good eye on things some gag gifts, like toy binoculars!

  11. I would like to see stats on how many blacks actually have warrants or are up to something when all of this so-called profiling occurs. I bet the percentage is very high, but that side of the story would never be told.

  12. Kansas City Star? I thought that propaganda machine died years ago when their newspapers went away! Looks like propaganda comes in new forms these days, I s think the KC star should demolish their rediculious building and make way for millenial apartment lofts, they would be taken more seriously in that market - Just IMAGINE - KCSTAR LOFTS- Still full of shit, and the rents skink even more!, perfect!!!
