KANSAS CITY STAR SHARES JUNE 18TH ELECTION ENDORSEMENTS WITHOUT CORPORATE TAX BREAK DISCLOSURE!!!

Right now the so-called Kansas City paper-of-record is playing political power broker and not community journalism source.

Here's the main concern of this quickly fading newspaper right now . . .

The Star’s endorsements for KC mayor, City Council and Question 1 in Tuesday’s election

The choices are pretty typical and don't represent any great departure from the status quo.

The Star backed all incumbents and the wife of a Federal judge along with supporting continued developer incentives.

To that point . . .

THE KANSAS CITY STAR FAILED TO DISCLOSE TAXPAYER SUBSIDIES FOR THE LOCATION OF THEIR PRINTING FACILITY!!!

Sure, they were forced to sell their big buildings but the property remains abated so the paper continues to enjoy the patronage on their lease back agreement.

And so, the fact that they're basically just a glorified developer & construction company PR outlet might deserve a mention to readers who mistakenly believe there's a real choice betwixt most of the politicos running for office.

You decide . . .

  2. The Kansas City Star is a bought and paid for mouthpiece/agent/mouthpiece for the Progressive/Fascist/Democrat party.

The Kansas City Star does NOT speak "Truth To Power", it notifies the Hoi Polloi of the Diktats handed down from on high.

  4. Horrible and deceitful.
Their thinking rivals the look of Swiss Cheese.
The Star needs to fold and complete their demise by laying off 120% of their staff.
    How?
Just get other papers’ employees to quit.
While not enforceable, just asking other papers’ employees to quit would go a long ways in restoring faith in the Star.
Of course there would be nothing left of it- but it would quit being antagonistic and thus heal everyone it has hurt.
    Not a moment too soon.

  5. And notice that Tony did not mention that the STAR endorsed Quinton Lucas!

  6. ^^^^ It doesn't matter who that star endorses Tracy. Don't be an idiot.
