Kansas City Royals Stay Losing Sunday

Baseball season of FAIL persists without much notice from local fans who have mostly disappeared since 2015. Here's the latest update:

Royals continue to whiff in 5-1 loss to the Rangers

Adrian Sampson, a 27-year old journeyman, mowed down the Royals in a dominating start, as the Royals dropped yet another road series in a 5-1 loss to Texas. Sampson went seven innings without walking a hitter, while striking out a career high 11.

  1. In (I believe) the top of the 7th the Royals loaded the base with no outs and failed to score. My enthusiasm is waning.

Their pitch selection is terrible. Royals batters don't swing at anything in the strike zone, but do swing at lots of pitches outside it. Maybe dumping the hitting coach would help, or maybe they're just bad.

Right now they are one of the worst MLB teams I've ever seen.

  2. The Royals are now 19-40. Let that sink in. Back to being the team I grew up watching.

  3. I wouldn't worry too much. Our very own Dr. Rock, Alex Gordon will begin absolutely raking the ball any day now and his already legendary quiet leadership will have this team back in the hunt within a few weeks.
The 40 man roster is from what I hear consuming pornography at a much lower rate than the rest of the AL Central, so they have that going for them as well.

  4. I am a Chiefs fan! I could care less about baseball or gay soccer in this cow town, and for the record when the Royals won the World series, I wasnt a fake supporter celebrating with them at Union Station because they won., I am in or I am out, I am not a fair weather sports fan, as for the rest of you, grow a set of your own balls and quit living bicariousley through 20 and 30 year olds who make 50X - 100X more a year than you! Go get yours!!!
