The latest local killing offers a terrifying glimpse at local killing ramping up near places where youngsters will play this Summer.
Here's the story:
Just after 2:30 p.m. officers on patrol in the area of 11th and Prospect were flagged down and informed someone had been shot at Prospect Plaza Park, located on the southwest corner of the intersection.
Officers located a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to an area hospital where she later died form her injuries.
Again, this is the 57th homicide so far this year compared to 51 at this time last year.

Next up..., South Africa!
KCPD's will have to buy another file cabinet for all their cold cases.
ReplyDeleteI guess that tax incentive money on prospect isn't making much of a difference. Maybe because it's all going to politically connected "consultants" and not the neighborhood or businesses.
ReplyDeleteThe weather's getting hotter and so are people's tempers. Might be a long week #60 by Friday evening @ 6:00 p.m. is entirely possible.
ReplyDelete6:55 there must be a KCFD fire station located near there and thats how you know that!
ReplyDelete8:17 it’s prospect dummy, no whiteys are allowed, everybody knows that.

Two worthless causes who are absent when real oppression happens.
^^^^ Sad but true.
ReplyDeleteSad situation, probably a defenseless woman who should have been spared. The violence in KC needs to stop but there are very few willing to speak against it.
