Indictment: Man sold counterfeit oxycodone containing fentanyl in Wyandotte County

KANSAS CITY, KS (KCTV) -- A man has been charged with distributing counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl in Wyandotte County. Anthony Stokes, 32, South Deerfield, MA, is charged with five counts of distributing fentanyl and five counts of selling counterfeit drugs. The indictment alleges the crimes took place during December 2018 through February 2019.

Independence police say man wanted on child molestation charges in custody

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. -- Independence police say a 26-year-old man wanted on child molestation charges is now in custody. Police said Austin R. Sternberg has a Jackson County felony warrant for child molestation of a child less than 12-years-old and attempt child molestation of a child less than 12-years-old.

LENEXA, KS (KCTV) -- James is wanted on a Johnson County, Kansas, warrant for sex offender registration violation. His original sex offense happened in 2009, in Gallatin, Missouri, and involved the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl. His last known address was in Lenexa, Kansas, but his current location is unknown.
