An important victory for transit activists across the metro . . . He's a streetcar fan and advocate for $400-MILLION worth of bicycle bucks.
Checkit:
With 100% precincts reporting, BikeWalkKC co-founder @EricWBunch has been elected 4th District In-District Councilman. He defeated firefighter and attorney Geoff Jolley, 5,936 (50.9%) to 5,724, in the closest race of the night.
We're screwed!
ReplyDeleteSo this is the asshole pushing pointless bikelanes?
ReplyDelete^^^ that asshole won. You can just call his boss now.
ReplyDeleteBitch.
I much prefer Mr. Bunch over a firefighter on our City Council.
ReplyDelete^^^ geoff jolley seemed like a good guy but in the end it came down to this.
ReplyDeleteJolley was a Cleaver puppet which hurt him. God help us. Bunch is the biggest loser on the council and should be a one termer.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an even split, except for the 212 Bicycle Riders in KC voting en bloc for their "Baby Trump"!
ReplyDeleteWhat a Bunch of crap!
ReplyDeleteThis one issue council person will find it hared to get the east side, north side, and west side support and be effective. He just basically put the genie back in the bottle.
ReplyDeleteSo glad my bicycle special interest will be represented on the city council. I have asked Eric for some whoop-de-doos to be installed across the heart of America bridge to make my morning and evening commutes by bike more entertaining. Thanks Kansas City tax payers.
