Over 560 crashes reported on stretch of K-10 in last decade

OLATHE, Kan. - A 19-year-old Kansas man was killed in a crash on Kansas 10 in May 14 of this year when he was unable to stop and ran into the back of a semi trailer. The deadly crash has not been the only accident in the area, which has raised questions about the safety of the stretch of highway between Renner Blvd.

  5. If you go 80 mph, drivers will pass you and give you the finger as they go by. We need to get people to SLOW DOWN on K-10 to and from Lawrence. It has become a Highway of Death because of the risks that people are taking.
