Missouri Republicans Force Pelvic Exams Ahead of Abortions
In Missouri, where the state's last remaining abortion clinic is in a legal battle to keep its doors open, Republicans have imposed another invasive and unnecessary requirement for anyone obtaining an abortion: now, patients must undergo a pelvic exam at least 72 hours prior to the procedure.
Better title.

ReplyDeleteUsing abortion as a means of birth control (and that's what it is for the vast majority of abortions performed in the U.S.) is like....
1) Saying you want to lose weight and go on a diet, while going back for seconds and thirds at the buffet.
2) Being told that you're borderline diabetic, but still go out boozing and eating junk food.
3) Claiming that you've turned your life around, you're back in the church, and enrolling in school, but get arrested for armed robbery, weapons possession by a felon, and assaulting a police officer.
