TOO LATE: KANSAS CITY DEVELOPERS RUINED WESTPORT

Update on a cross betwixt fake news sponsored content and stuff we already covered. Here's a City Hall presser lovingly rewritten for viewers like you:

Westport's New Master Plan Calls For Shorter Buildings And Wider Sidewalks

A new master plan intended to guide the future development of Westport over the next 20 years proposes height restrictions along its primary streets, wider sidewalks and potential historic designations for nearby neighborhoods. The Westport District Master Plan is in response to concerns two years ago over two large apartment proposals and follows 18 months of work by a steering committee representing key Westport constituencies.

Yes it ruined! What is it with all the high rise buildings and apartments lately? And I doubt if they're affordable. Half of these will probably end up vacant anyway.

Ya gotta wonder why Jolie Justus supported that eyesore at Westport & Broadway despite all the neighborhood organizations in Midtown being adamantly opposed to it, And it could not have passed without her support.

Not many votes for her in Midtown after that.

Kind of like the cherry on top of a boondoggle sundae.

Wider sidewalks will allow the mayors and their fat asses access.

Jolie talks neighborhoods now, but has voted that way for the last four years. My vote will be for Quinton!

Westport was ruined long before developers tried to save it. If anything they're why it's stayed around so long.
