TKC SATURDAY QUESTION: HAS FLOODING CREATED DOUBT AMONG VOTERS ABOUT SO-CALLED KANSAS CITY MOMENTUM?!?

The rain returns to night but a brie pause offers us a moment for reflection . . .

The recent deluge has flooded Kansas City basements and demonstrated to voters that basic services are more important than the tourist game. BUT Will the shift in priorities impact the upcoming election??!?

More importantly . . .

WILL JOLIE JUSTUS OR QUINTON LUCAS SAVE KANSAS CITY FROM FLOODING?!?!

Never mind that neither candidate did much to help alleviate the situation over the past 4 years they held office.

And so . . . Tonight we prepare for more rain as KCMO has been coping with water threats since The Great Flood of '51 but our political establishment still struggles to even keep the sewers clean.

KMBC: Storms return Saturday evening

Fox4KC: Severe weather threat continues (with breaks)

KMBC: It looks like Wednesday before we begin to see a drying trend.

KCMO's $ billion smart sewer system has been a colossal failure especially the minions in charge claimed they would eliminate the flooding.

  10. 7:06 : Too late, I already bought them up and will be selling seats on the D boats when it floods on Indian Creek, Will also be offering tours on all water main breaks at 50% off. City hall is donating hot mix that should have been used to fix potholes that has been molded in to the shape of life jackets for all tax paying citizens who take the tour.
