TKC READERS SHARE 2ND LOOK AT LEE'S SUMMIT SCHOOL DISTRICT HOT MESS!!!

We've heard back from more than a few readers on the Lee's Summit school drama and here's what our blog community has to say . . .

CONSERVATIVE & PROGRESSIVE ALIKE . . . THE SLEAZE SUMMIT SCHOOL DISTRICT IS IN CRISIS!!!

A few items worth noting . . .

- Readers report that "cotton-picking" school song story was, in fact, a REAL DEAL MOMENT OF CRINGE and it happened during a music class. Whilst no amount of sensitivity might help that level of public school silliness. The repeated reports from multiple sources deserve further investigation.

- A school district lady made a TRAGIC J-LO REFERENCE that's picking up steam right now on social media and community news outlets deserves to be mocked at the very least!!!

Update . . . Worthwhile passage from our friends at the Lee's Summit Tribune:

“If they’re looking for a Spanish, they might choose J.Lo over me, I don’t know,” she (Board President Julie Doane) continued . . .

Lulz.

- White people feel neglected and like they're being pushed out because of changing demographics and allegedly insensitive leadership. That's not something to be overlooked, if there is racial tension stemming from white people's public complaints on the record  - Rather than mock the sentiment like MSM, wouldn't it be better to deal with the anxiety and try to alleviate it rather than attack people because they're scared?!?!

Sadly, the local media spotlight is making matters worse and there's very little talk about solutions only blame from "very fine people on both sides" of the crisis.

Developing . . .

  1. Best option:

  5. Diversity hire doing what diversity hires do.

    1. Come in with huge promises of change and good results.
    2. Achieve none of what is promised.
    3. Begin blaming personal failure on racism.
    4. Show true character as legitimate questions are raised.
    5. Find a racial hoax on which to capitalize. See #2.
    6. Along the way, suck up every possible benefit and perk.
    7. Blame racism for everything once more, from classless behavior on social media to bad attitude to basic incompetence.
    8. Sue Whitey.
    8. Repeat until white guilt is exhausted.

This Lee's Summit doofus, Forte, Cheptoo, and a thousand others. Anybody can play!:)

Never hear a word of, if not appreciation, at least recognition of the many thousands of Union soldiers who died during the most devastating war this country has endured to end the practice of slavery.

If those "Whities" hadn't volunteered, who knows what this country would look like.

I don't, but thousands of white families have ancestors who were slaughtered in that terrible war. Sick and fucking tired of "victim-hood".

  8. There is clearly racism in Lee's Summit Schools. The thing is, the black people moving there aren't hood rats. Homes in Lee's Summit go for a premium price. Hood rats aren't buying the $400,000 homes being built. The only black folks you see worked their ass off to get there.

  16. The new super is a piece of work. Entitled, anti-white rascist. If anyone dares to disagree with his lordship, they must be part of some white supremacy group. He can go to hell. I know that Lee's Summit will lose money if they fire this guy (with his gold parachute contract and all) but it would be worth it. He is a cancer in the school district.

  17. Less Summit people are very stupid for hiring a colored superintendent and deserve what they get. As stupid as they are, I bet they don’t hire another colored superintendent.

Do you have any proof of that? The population is still at 8 percent. And yes crime is rising, but crime in this area is rising everywhere.

I'm looking at realtor and zillow and a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home in northern LS is going for 200,000 to 250,000.

    That's Raytown?

  19. The previous school board that hired Carpenter were liberal guilty whites who "proved" they weren't prejudiced by hiring an incompetent black superintendent from the failing Hickman Mills District.

Then before leaving the board they forced through a 1-year contract extension for Carpenter.

The new board will keep his wings clipped, let him resign if he wants, and then not renew his contract in 2020. 2 of the 3 board members up for election in 2020 will not be re-elected, as they contributed to the dysfunction. In 2021, there will also likely be 2 new conservative members elected. Lee's Summit has woken up from their apathy, having learned that their school board was hijacked by susceptible "white guilt" liberals.

Carpenter struggles to speak and write clearly, has a 1-trick pony called "equity" that can't be clearly defined, and is currently putting out feelers in search of a district that would be foolish enough to hire him.

  20. It would appear that the Lees Summit School Board is intent on personally proving the existence of White Privilege and the need for equity training in the District.

    1. Nah White Privilege is nonsense, and most diversity training is a con job for morons too scared to speak out against it.

  22. This is a bullshit controversy. The song Pick a Bale of Cotton was first recorded by Lead Belly and has since been done by a variety of groups, including ABBA and Raffi (who sang children's songs). Below are the lyrics. Anyone who is offended by them ought to seek therapy fast.

    Gonna jump down, spin around
    Pick a bale of cotton
    Gonna jump down, spin around
    Pick a bale a day
Oh lordy, pick a bale of cotton
    Pick a bale a day

    1. Holy Shit! We can't let this get out. We have to continue screaming 'racism' at the top of our lungs so we can keep our precious victim status for eternity.

  23. This "equity" controversy from Lee's Summit's first black superintendent reminds me of the year that all the Latino parents in the district started protesting for special rights for their children.
    Oh wait! That never happened.

What about the year all the Asian parents started demanding more budget dollars for their children?
Again, sorry, that never happened either.

Special education children and parents? No

English as a second language children and parents? No

Why do some black parents and children always fall into the trap of claiming victim status? Well, for one, it absolves you of personal responsibility. If your children are lagging in academic performance, isn't it easier to blame someone else?

The very statistics presented to the school board indicate that academic performance improves across all metrics the longer the student has been in the LS district. This is true for white and black students. If you come into a high-performing district from a lower-performing district, it's not unusual for there to be an initial lag in academic achievement.

Carpenter's "Equity Initiative" is a fabricated marketing ploy to convince a top state school district that they're unconsciously prejudiced and need to spend a lot of money with Carpenter's educational consultant friends. Strange that the teachers/staff aren't prejudiced against Asians, Latinos, Indians, Pacific Islanders, males or females, but it's just the black students according to Carpenter.

  25. That superintendent seems very disrespectful to the elected board members and very cavalier about wasting real money flying in pointless diversity consultants. Ninety seven grand would buy some football pads, wrestling mats, etc. Just one Radish's opinion though.
