TKC #METOO MUST READ!!! FORMER KANSAS CITY MISSOURI STATE REP. DARON McGEE EXCLAIMS 'HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT FAIR?!' FOLLOWING RESIGNATION!!!

A rising star in Kansas City politics recently suffered a horrific career setback that send shockwaves through the Southland. Weeks after the controversy, he finally speaks with a community news reporter about the scandal.

Checkit:

Jackson County Advocate: Despite an independent investigation that revealed no sexual harassment took place, Missouri District 36 Representative DaRon McGee said he had no choice but to resign last month.

Deets:

The independent investigation also stated that the alleged victim did not raise any concerns regarding overtly sexual conduct on the part of Representative McGee. A romantic relationship between McGee and the alleged victim never took place, according to the victim’s statement in the report.

The victim, in the independent report, states that she “never felt uncomfortable around Representative McGee. I never felt that he retaliated against me.” McGee said that the victim’s testimony changed after the report was concluded and she got a lawyer. According to him, she opted to tell a different story when testifying in front of the Committee on Ethics.

“I think that she is now trying to sue the state and financially gain,” said McGee. “What she told the independent investigators was completely different than what she told the committee.”

The independent investigation also revealed that the alleged victim was not the one to file the initial complaint against McGee. It was reported and filed by another elected official. In the House of Representatives, there are certain leadership members who are designated mandatory reporters.

In the most important passages, there's actually a conflict among the super-minority Missouri Democratic Party revealed and a vote that took place over objections. “How in the hell is that fair?” McGee responded.

This really is a great article that deserves a read IN FULL amid the ongoing #MeToo movement and its continued impact throughout the nation.

  4. May not agree with his politics but he's right. This was a star chamber and a sham trial. I notice the article said the Republicans voted against this because even they could see the potential for harm and unfairness. In the end it's Democrats who go along with this nonsense of convicting an innocent man of wrongdoing.

  5. DaRon is guilty.

  6. ^^^ Convicted by Democrats.

  7. This reminds me of the tyreek hill situation. Dude lives with a psycho gf who he's trying to make the best of it with and she goes off the deep end even further. Then KC media in one of the most blatant forms of racism I've ever seen in calling for his job and saying he should be blackballed forever

  8. ^^^Not bothering to realize that when Tyreek's gravy train stops, so does hers. Very dumb.

  9. I read the entire story and I am still a supporter of Deron. However, he should have not resigned but stuck in there and fought it out. I was upset because the story indicates Deron felt that the victim should not have testified before the House Ethics panel. That would be wrong and unfair. So this story says a little more about Deron than I am comfortable with at this time. He should not have resigned but made his case before the House. He was too scared to stand his own ground.

  10. To the above: if the committee had considered the independent investigation as her testimony, then they could have/should have voted NOT to proceed. The simple fact that they voted to proceed gave her time to come up with a different story. They should have never proceeded in the first place.

  11. DaRon is not the victim. DaRon was got caught.

  12. Anytime, anywhere someone named DaRon loses his job, it’s fair and righteous.

  13. Another "rising star" who somehow got that designation without ever accomplishing much of anything.
Only politicians and the media can make such magic happen.
    How's Sharice doing?
    Hahahahaha!!

  14. As usual, bLIEron has nothing to say because he’s black, now, if he’d been white, bLIEron would be going crazy.

  15. Why'd you quit dumbass

  16. The only thing surprising about any of this is that DaRon sexually harassed a woman. Anyone in the area who has met him knows or suspected he has always been into men.

  17. Gotta go with 2:51 on this one. Blacks can’t run their own lives and communities, how do you expect them to run everyone else’s?
