Amid silly season the local political elite in Kansas City proper are being lazy and seem more vested in pushing personal interests and securing legacies rather than looking out for the best deals available for this town.
Meanwhile, Kansas continues the economic border war and wants more really good USDA jobs on their side of the metro. Fact it, KCMO has more and stronger connections to D.C. and the effort to swing hundreds of federal jobs to the metro should start in KANSAS CITY PROPER.

A couple of federal agencies you probably haven't heard of keep track of what farmers grow, what Americans eat and how the country's entire food system operates. And the Trump Administration wants them out Washington, D.C.
Nice theory. but that would take away from time spent begging for handouts. Makes much more sense to keep asking for "affordable housing" welfare than to try to help find people work.
