Kansas Bars Can't Be Sued By Victims Of Their Drunk Patrons, State Supreme Court Says
Kansas is one of just a handful of states that doesn't allow a person injured by a drunk driver to sue the retailer who furnished the alcohol. On Friday, the Kansas Supreme Court upheld that 34-year-old rule, saying it was up to the Legislature to change it.
Look at the KS Legislature not overstepping their bounds. That has to feel weird for them.

I am shocked that the Kansas Supreme Court actually thinks it's the legislature's job to make laws. Surely the Court could have found a right to sue bars (or any other right for that matter) the same place they found a right to an abortion. Or maybe they just flip coins to decide which claims are constitutional rights and it came up tails this time.

If alcohol and the servers of same get held liable for drunks' misdeeds, then tech devices and the subscriber networks must be liable for those distracted doofuses' disasters!!
