Restoring Kansas City Legacy Burned Down

A glimpse into the grassroots neighborhood effort to rehab this blighted, burned down property which also connects this Kansas City urban core community to history and a sports legend. Take a look:

  1. Bet that’s gonna cost a million bucks to repair, who gets the job? Will it be minority business owned which will add another half million dollars and take five years to complete? There’s only a few contractors that can handle the repairs for this house and they ain’t black nor women. If they want it done right, the city shouldn’t be involved at all.

Annual scholarships in Paige's honor would make better use of the funds. But, we've got the gibsmes from top to bottom in this cray place called Killa Shitty, the #5 Murder Momentum mess!

  4. You have a council member who misrepresented his education in his home page lists in KCMO.org. Now Jolie is going after his endorsement for her Mayoral campaign.
This is a move of a desperate campaign and I am extremely concerned of the possible outcome.

  5. Too many blighty houses that will never sell are still trashing up the Killa Shitty hoods. Biggie BowTie pledged they'd be bulldozed.

So, a baseball legend's family home that sat for decades, blighting away, then got badly burned into an unsightly stack o' sticks, is getting promised efforts to find funds for restorations. Yeah, let the Paige family have that transparency and direct involvement they request, but spend only private funds for the museum. THIS murder momentum/debt burden disaster/infrastructures neglected/undesirable public schools/and rigged votes COWTOWN'S COFFERS ARE TAPPED OUT!!!
