This photo set is making it's way around the local Internets and it offers a reminder that KCMO homeless have been impacted by recent rains more than anyone else.

The social media question:

Who do you call about this?

If hosing down the homeless by the fire department does not make them leave then mother nature will.

  2. You know what fuck them. Burning fires under bridges to impede traffic. Go have another brown bag round on the street car!

  6. Yeah lets devote more resources i.e. money, to these losers. That way they can do drugs, harass citizens and continue to create problems. The less we offer hobos the less of them we will have. Look at places like San Francisco or Denver where there are lots of services for them. I know most of the local yokels who read this blog probably have not traveled much but if you go to these cities, and others, certain parts of town are impossible to walk down the street literally because they are lined up and down the sidewalks, turning what used to be nice areas into little homeless shantytown encampments. So sign me up with 6:33. Fuck em.

  7. I feel worse for people who actually pay for their houses and got flooded than some dudes living under a bridge

  8. Obviously KCMO's billion $$ smart sewer system predictably failed.

  9. I just wish the homeless would stop littering.

  10. The bad thing here is that they pay $1200 month rent for these conditions!
