A stretch of buildings in the heart of the historic Troost commercial district would be transformed into offices, retail space and a museum, under a plan being pursued by development group that includes civic leader E. Frank Ellis.

  13. KCMO’s sewer system is bad enough without flushing millions of dollars down the toilet on another east side, feel-good folly.

  14. They have been working on Troost for several years now and the buildings are sitting empty some even falling into disrepair already! This is a failed project even before it got off of the ground. Same thing will happen to the Troost and Armour project when they start it this month, all it will do is cause parking problems and cause the Central Hyde Park homes to lose value! But it's all about money not about the city betterment.
