Midtown neighbors want Airbnb shut down after shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After a shooting sent bullets through a Midtown neighborhood Friday, neighbors want the home where it happened to be shut down. Residents near Gillham Road and Locust Street woke up to dozens of gunshots just before 3 a.m. Friday.

  1. I worked in the hotel business for years and while there are some good people that stayed, there were also an equal amount of really very weird and scary people too.
    For someone to open a B&B in their home these days is just asking for trouble.
    I take it that this is North Hyde Park which is bad to begin with and Central Hyde Park has gone down hill fast too, not just with B&B's but the neighbors are scary too.
