Police internet exchange zones offer designated spots for online buyers and sellers

Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo, - all offer a convenient way to buy and sell items with people nearby at a bargain. Are they supposed to go inside the police station? Will one of the fat lazy cops manage the energy to actually go outside? Will they stand right there during the transaction? They managed to leave a lot of important info out didn’t they.
