KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Cinema buffs in Kansas City have one less movie theater to catch a show at after the Cinemark Palace at the Plaza closed for good Sunday. "When I heard about the movie theater (closing), I said wow," said John Mosley, who made catching a movie at the theater a Monday tradition.

Two children stuck by vehicles in metro

Authorities are investigating. The Kansas City Police Department is investigating two separate accidents involving juveniles struck by vehicles.The first child was struck at 40th Street and Wayne Avenue at 3:41 p.m. Sunday.Police have arrested the driver at the scene.The second child was hit by a pickup truck at 26th Street and Drury Avenue at 3:45 p.m.

OLATHE, KS (KCTV) - Three people are injured in a vehicle crash in Olathe Sunday evening. Police are on the scene located at W 105th Street and S Woodland Road for a vehicle crash that happened at 6:45. Two cars were involved in the crash and three people were injured.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A chlorine leak was reported Sunday at a General Mills plant in the 2900 block of Guinotte Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Fire crews responded shortly after 10:30 a.m. to the leak, which forced employees to evacuate the five-story building.

Fire crews were battling a house fire located in the 2500 block of north 12th Street Saturday night just before 9.
