Comments

  1. May not be 100 percent effective but it's better than nothing. Yes, the next mayor should keep it in place and work to support it.

  3. "entertainment districts"

What is with KCMO's fixation on branding neighborhoods as entertainment districts. It's almost an fatal illness now and is 100% of the problem.

    1. Not quite. We know who is 100% of the problem but political correctness requires that we don’t admit it.

  4. I'm sure this will be about as effective as a restraining order is. Not worth the paper it is written on and never enforced like it should be.

  5. Beatings would help fix the problem

OPEN SECRET: KCMO collects virtually NO money from parents/guardians of curfew violators. Thus, it means NOTHING!

  7. Once again, we tiptoe around black dysfunction and the whole community pays the price for nonexistent parenting.

  8. I'll tell you what is 100% effective is to spray these kids down with pepper spray and beat the crap out of them. That's what they need. Bring it on little retards I won't wait for the police.

  9. Niglets out and about after curfew and who are seen doing crime are fair targets.

  10. Suggestion for an interesting Sociological Study -
    1) round them up
    2) confiscate their Cell Phones
    3) Don't contact their "parents"
    4) see how long (how my weeks) it takes until someone askes about them.

"Whut you mean dAntwoineesha ain't home yit?
Who gon' take you chilluns to School to git yo brekfus?"

Aawww, how bout the crimmie kiddies go play at NicK's all night. They can rush up to him and do knockout game on his head. He can let them throw chunks of concrete at his face. He'll be so cool to let them crush his skull and then jump up on the hood and roof of his car. They'll all have big laughs when he tries walking to his car, but gets bumped and blocked from passing on his walkway to his garage. He'll tell them he needs someone to call an ambulance for him since one of his new BFs stole his phone. They'll cuss him some more and laugh real long and real loud.

  16. Keep your teenager Five miles from the Large group of Teens. There's always the twenty percent that are angry at someone. And the bullets usually hit the innocent bystanders.

Now, now. These special teens need a break and some free time and enjoyment away from teaching manners and proper social behavior being instilled in their home environment.

All this scholastic endeavor while learning to become good neighbors and productive members of society is hard work, and a stroll around the Plaza or enjoying Worlds of Fun is well deserved.

Parents can just drop them off and the little dears will find their own way home.
