Kansas City Real Life: Royals Losing Streak

Continued hardship for a team that fondly remembers money ball good luck now that fans have abandoned the organization. Read more:

Royals can't claw back against Tigers, lose 4-3

In a lot of ways, this is a pretty standard game. No one had a monster, unexpected night. The Royals struggled to score and their pitching was juuuust good enough to give you some hope while still being bad enough that you never really thought the Royals had a chance.

  1. They have lost a good part of the fan base they built in 2014 and 2015. That fan base isn’t coming back, either, because the Royals aren’t going to have a competitive team for a long time. The system is broken and there isn’t much help on the way. We have a cheapskate inbred hillbilly owner and a bumbling Jesus Freak general manager.

  2. If not for the bullion- Royals are in first.
Other than that- they are doing much better than I ever though they would.
And they must miss Hosmer- didn’t he sign a huge big ticket raising contract? He must be hitting .490 by now.
    Oops.

In this town the myth is " you get what you pay for" while The Royals owners and management are seeing that with empty seats and low ticket sales, I dont think the Cheifs will suffer from that same demise because they understand how that works and are willing to pay to get results. Now with that said not related to any sport franchise locally here. I pay taxes and property taxes to live in this city, can someone tell me where the fuck the money is going while I drive to work on some of the worst roads a city could ever offer?? The leadership if investigated I can promise you, would blow your mind on the local level.
