Kansas City Pet Project Confronts More Pet Rescues And Makes A Little Progress In Paying For Pricey GO Bond Shelter

KC Pet Project sets record with nearly 1,000 pets taken in during April

KC Pet Project has broken a record. In April, the shelter took in 950 pets, more than any April in the shelter's history. "We want to get them out as quickly as possible so little dogs don't have to spend a lot of time in the shelter," said Tori Fugate, KC Pet Project's chief communications officer.
