Higher rents force another Crossroads business to leave
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Living Room Theatre will take its final bow after their 10th season at 1818 McGee Street. Higher rents are driving them out of the Crossroads Art District. "Due to soaring city taxes and rental costs in The Crossroads Arts District, we can sadly no longer afford to stay," the theater posted on their website.
Yes the magic toot toot streetcar is fixing everything.
ReplyDeleteClap clap clap clap clap clap!
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a disproportionate amount of homosexuals in the Crossroads now.
ReplyDeleteThank you Slie, for destroying the arts in KC!!
ReplyDeleteTake your Open Spaces fiasco and shove it !!!!
Coming soon another Starbucks or PapaJohn's!
ReplyDeleteWith rents going higher and water and sewer taxes on the rise for years to come. No wonder more people keep going to N.K.C.
ReplyDeleteNotice that the headline only refers to "rents", but the quote is "Soaring city taxes and rental costs." You would almost think they don't want you to notice the part about the taxes. Rents, of course can be blamed on EEVVVIILLLLL private property owners.
