KANSAS CITY, MO (AP) - A second woman has been charged in the shooting and stabbing death of a man in a Kansas City home. Jackson County prosecutors announced Tuesday that 41-year-old Stephanie Nance, 41, of Oak Grove, is charged with second-degree murder, kidnapping and two counts of armed criminal action in the killing of 49-year-old Michael Fisher.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Missouri, police investigated a suspicious package at the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority building on 18th Street Wednesday morning. The package was a backpack left near KCATA's security stand. Employees called police. The bomb and arson squad also responded and used a robot to shoot a high-velocity water cannon to try to open the bag.
