This isn't the border war, this is just embarrassing. Here's an economic juxtaposition that ignores hype about tourism and looks at JOB CREATION that's far more important to local life and vibrancy. Read more:
Kansas City's job losses are Edgerton's gains
EDGERTON, Kan. - Hostess announced this week they are building a new distribution center at Logistics Park KC in Edgerton. Less than seven years-ago, trains would just past through Edgerton, Kansas. Now those trains are stopping in Edgerton and it's not just more trains, it's more jobs in the city as well.
Edgerton is the hottest smallest town in KS or MO right now. While the businesses and industrial side of it has changed the town and it's residents stay the same.

ReplyDeleteGardner-Edgergon is a very good school district, and the reasons are simple. There's good community support, decent families, great staff, and very importantly--diversity is of the correct count and caliber. Those two parent homes are largely entrepreneurs, educated professionals, and tradespersons who are not permissive of ghetto garbage/white trash behaviors.

Quick cue the social justice warriors to get some section 8 housing out there to diversify the area for it's own good.
ReplyDeleteThe residents of Edgerton should be glad there are not any meat packing plants there. You should see what they have done to towns in south and western KS.

be at the bars picking up all the trashy women while there women are home taking care of all their future welfare recipients.Good luck
