Work underway to bring new life to old Bannister site
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After years of sitting abandoned and being at the center of lawsuits and medical compensation claims, the Bannister Federal Complex is being transformed into an area that will be home to 2.5 million square feet of warehouse space and around 1,500 new jobs as part of a federal project costing more than $200 million.
