TKC FRIDAY FOLLOW-UP!!! KANSAS CITY PROGRESSIVES DEFEND ASSAULT AGAINST CONSERVATIVE SPEAKER AT UMKC!!! INTIMIDATION JUSTIFIED AFTER ALLEGED LAVENDER OIL SQUIRT GUN ATTACK!!!
The afternoon update on a recent city college ruckus offers a glimpse at unfortunate Kansas City political hypocrisy.
Here's the only really new detail . . .
According to the statement, a UMKC student sprayed an unknown substance at Knowles and others, forcing police to react to the threat.“Tests later revealed the substance to be lavender oil and some other non-toxic household liquids,” UMKC said. However, the student was arrested and charged with assault and other violations, according to the school’s email to students.
However . . .
NOTICE THAT MANY KANSAS CITY PROGRESSIVES HAVE ENDORSED THE THREATENING TACTICS AND DOWNPLAYED THE ASSAULT CHARGE BECAUSE OF DETERGENT CHOICE!!!
And so we offer only one line of reasoning as the story now gives way to hyper-partisan slap-fighting . . .
THROWING ANY KIND OF CLEANING FLUIDS AT SOMEBODY BECAUSE YOU DISAGREE WITH THEIR POLITICS IS STUPID AND WRONG!!!
Right, left or any other manner of political ideology . . . Assault and intimidation remains a disgusting tactic that is being used more often in our increasingly divisive discourse.
Given their lower subscription numbers it's not even worth noting the sickening stance of the Kansas City Star on this topic. What's worse is that we notice the social media discourse supporting this misguided activism.
Thankfully, UMKC seems to be leading the way here in their support of PEACEFUL PROTEST and FREE SPEECH as the discussion now devolves into the same kind of theatrics and parody seen in our national discourse.
