TKC FLASHBACK: FIVE YEAR WAIT FOR TRIAL AFTER SOUTH KANSAS CITY QUINTUPLE MASS KILLING RAMPAGE!!!

Credit where it's due, here's a nice reminder at the snail's pace of the criminal justice system in Jackson County:

‘Not forgotten’: Man accused in KC quintuple killing goes to trial after five years

Remember that it took almost a year for prosecutors to seek the death penalty.

Deets:

"A man accused of killing five people during a 2014 rampage in Kansas City is scheduled to go to trial Monday. Prosecutors have said they intend to seek the death penalty. The first Monday of every month, 93-year-old Jeanne Stewart meets with her neighbors in the quiet, tree-lined cul-de-sac on Woodbridge Lane in south Kansas City."

  1. PCP is a hell of a drug.

  2. Jean Petersucker Baker is waiting until people forget about these murders so people won’t notice when he gets probation.

  3. 7:17 No PCP, it was a Black on White Hate Crime.

No one will tell the truth about this crime.

My friend Colin R. went to High School in Prairie Village at 75th and Mission with this creep. He hated white people then and said it all the time.

The media doesn't like that narrative.

  4. Justice delayed is justice denied.
Guess that doesn't work in both directions.
    Sad.

Well 7:42 Us Shit-flakes want justice! Being in jail isn't good enough! Our tax dollars are feeding and housing this idiot and we don't like that he should have been put to death long ago or on death row at least locked in a room like the inhuman monster he is. We need something to be offended about?????? You bet we're offended. No on gets more offended at petty things like a black person so STFU. LOSER

  8. FINALLY! I hope the Jackson County Prosecutor knows that there are lots of eyes on this one. If he gets a "You're a very naughty boy." sentence, we will remember. I still remember the two "lifers" who were released in Missouri after service less than ten years. They went on to kill Don Drummond in Lafayette County and a couple in Arizona. No mercy is justice in this case.

  9. In Kansas he would have been given the hard 50 in less than a year's time.

Unfortunately, I think if he claims drug addiction and makes a good impression on the jury he'll get less than 20 years. He'll be out in a little more than then. Unfortunately, the public memory will lapse and we'll act surprise when if he kills again.

  11. 7:49. You can use profanity, name-call, use all caps, and try to intimidate me until you are blue in the face, that won’t work.

    Do you feel better now?

  12. And people still claim that affordable housing is the biggest issue facing Kansas City. Maybe they're talking about more prison space. Hopefully.

  13. ^^^^Yes I do. You fucking shit-flake. Go meltdown elsewhere. Go find a safespace. No justice..whaaaaa!!! my tax dollars...whaaaa!!! Whaaaa!! The rest of us are tired of your crying!!!!

  15. The citizens of KCMO need to realize the accused was in the process of getting his life turned around when he supposedly went on this rampage. He was calling his siblings every night, reading them bedtime stories and attending church.
Guess he slept through the "shall not kill" sermon.

Jean Peters Baker is just another clone of Kim Foxx. Jean is so busy running the Missouri Democrat party she doesn't have time to prosecute.

  18. Bring back the firing squad. Capital punishment is very effective and inexpensive.

  20. If you're going to bring back things like firing squads then we need to make it happen as they did 100 or so years ago.

Make it a very public event, make it very gruesome. Nothing else seems to work to curtail crime maybe making the death penalty really take place and make it so all can see it happen and maybe that will scare people into acting like they have some common sense.

Being soft on crime sure hasn't worked.

But when I was a kid just the thought of getting a spanking for doing something wrong was a huge deterrent to behave. But the Bernie Sanders of the world said that was bad. Ha, look at where we are now?

Thugs walk around with the mind thought of, "There ain't no crime invented I can't do the time for." Lot of truth to that since probation is handed out like candy to repeating criminals and if they do any jail time it's a mere fraction of the time they should do.

Bring back real capital punishment and apply it like it should be with real hard time done and you will see crime levels drop.

If people want to go around acting like animals then I say we treat them as such by keeping them chained up and in cages.

I wonder how often black-on-white atrocities occurred when Jim Crow Laws were in place.

  22. Too bad he didn’t become a Missouri windchime the hour he was apprehended.

  23. Watch him walk because he didn't get a speedy trial. Let me first state I think he should have had a bullet in his head 4.5 years ago. That said, he has a constitutional right to a speedy trial. Jackson County might have fucked up here big time.

  24. Get a rope for this SUMBITCH already! I'll gladly push him off the ledge!
