Reporter duped into writing Eric Greitens comeback story. | The Kansas City Star

With so many scandals and accusations swirling around Missouri's former governor, it can be hard to keep track of the players. Here's a quick guide. For a few hours Wednesday morning, Missouri's political world was buzzing over a report that former Gov. Eric Greitens was plotting his political comeback.

  1. Greitens got a bad wrap, ya he might have cheated on his wife, but millions of men in this country do every single day, if he had worked at any major company that would have been a "personnal issue" Which even him being our Governor was a personnal none of our business issue, His own wife forgave him, but see here is the thing. Politics is a dog eat dog world! and a politician just a little more powerful than him got him removed from office. Most politions are crooks, liars, theives etc etc, At least Greitens came clean with his wife long before the public ever knew about it, to me that shows character, it shows humanitity because we all make mistakes! Greitens owned up to it with his wife, and didnt do so because of a political pressure. I have respect for the guy!

  2. Dude's a low-life snek. He came clean to his wife when he first started getting a whiff of blackmail. His wife "forgave" him as any power-hungry spouse would. He's as fake a Republican as we've had in a while. If he ever runs again for public office, I hope he does it on his root ticket: Democrat.
