Where's Bike/Ride KC with their usual outrage?
If we just would get rid of all these trucks, along with the cars and other vehicles, of course, and delivered merchandise on bicycles as God intended, these types of tragedies would never happen!
Never miss a tragedy to make a ridiculous special interest point.

"No Pedestrian Traffic " on the Interstate system means just that.

Probably a tent person. Nobody is going to miss them if they are homeless.
Need to help these people. No one is looking to be homeless. Didn’t wake up and suddenly say I want to be homeless.

That had to hurt---probably not very long though

Havnt you ever heard of suicide by truck?

I think it was just overconfidence. He was a smart man. Probably thought traffic was slow enough to cut through.

I know the guy who was hit. He was an active member of the community and an advocate for bike/ped. I can’t imagine what led him to try to run across I70, he is someone who would have clearly knew the risks.

An avid leader of biking and making KC "walkable" gets killed crossing the highway. Is this irony?
