Politicos are attempting to sell this one to the public but the reaction we've seen is that this bit of "research" could have been done with a Google search and probably wasn't necessary at all. Here's more insight on the process from TV news:
Kansas City to conduct gender pay study
For years, a coalition has been seeking answers to the question: Does Kansas City pay women, men and minorities equally? After months of waiting, the Women's Equality Coalition may finally find out."It's important. It needs to be done.
I agree that the study is unnecessary because it's already well known that women are paid less for similar work.
ReplyDeleteMost men deny this, but it's true.
ReplyDeleteI'm a women and I deny this because it's simply not true in all cases! I't a BS lefty attack. A lot of women make more than men or the same, depends on education and or work skills seniority has a lot to do with it too.
Will you dumb ass progressives go do a real study?
ReplyDeleteGo send a male and a female (I know gender is a social construct and anyone can be a boy or girl if they identify as such..but just bear with me)
Go apply to KCMO:
McDonald’s
Walmart
IRS
Commerce bank
Hallmark
Starbucks
VML
Guess what....men and women get paid to do the same job there.
Byron talking about work... Priceless.
ReplyDeleteWomen should get paid less because they talk too much and are low on iron for about a week out of every month. Hot chicks that put out should be paid more.
ReplyDeleteByron hasn't had a job since Nixon was in office. How does he know how much women are being paid?
ReplyDeleteByron's only pissed because his Mom's making less than her male cohorts, so she has to work more. That means he's got to come out of the basement once in awhile to heat up his own hot pocket.
ReplyDelete"...it's already well known that women are paid less for similar work." Weasel words! What do you mean by "similar work:" secretary vs. construction worker? Day care worker vs. telephone lineman?
ReplyDeleteWhat baloney. Women and men should get equal pay for doing the SAME job at the SAME employer for the SAME amount of time at the SAME level of competency. Anything less than that is not equal work.
