The local service industry offers a great deal of good times and, for better or worse, turns many of its denizens into functional alcoholics and casual drug users. However, there's also a downside that typically comes with unwanted advances from both customers & coworkers. Bars, restaurants work to counter sexual harassment at their businesses

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Several Kansas City metro area bars and restaurants are training their staff as part of a local program to counter sexual assault and harassment in business places. The Metropolitan Organization to Counter Assault has been carrying out special SAFE Training for business employees to recognize when someone is uncomfortable or unsafe, and how to intervene.

    None of this crap has a slightest impact on how people actually behave and most of it has the half-life of about two days.
    Hope these restaurants and associations tell these folks to go take a hike.
