LOL
ReplyDeleteTo much competition from Bar and Grills ... where kids run rampant and dads push strollers around... they don't need Winstead's anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe economy has recovered!
ReplyDeleteLOL that's been entertaining to read about.
Small portions, high prices for fast food burgers. Fuck Winsteads
ReplyDeletePaid 20 bucks for a tiny burger , fries and a" sky scraper" aka a glorified root beer float. What a fucking rip off
ReplyDeleteHard to capitalize on the "success" of the plaza location. Its an old "dive" though the last time I was there it more closely resembled Arthur Bryants. I could easily see it not selling well in the heart of JoCo. People looking to spend those bucks on a fast food lunch can go spend the same amount on a sit-down B&G that seemingly pop up every other weekend.
ReplyDeleteOverrated and overpriced.
ReplyDeleteLast time I ate there a guy covered in face tattoo's helped me. Winsteads, im good.
ReplyDeleteHaddad has let them fall apart. Drive by the one on 135th the tile is falling off and haven't been repaired. Haven't been to the Plaza location for years due to the problems with the kids.
ReplyDeleteI wish someone would restore this place to it's glory years by buying it and clean it up.
We were at the Plaza location just a few weeks ago. Busy as always, but it would do wonders to close it down for a couple of days and give it a deep cleaning/paint job.
ReplyDeleteI used to eat at the one in NKC, bring that back
