This classic Western shocked Kansas City. 50 years later it returns for a celebration
The master of the American Western, Sam Peckinpah directs a stellar cast in "The Wild Bunch," a controversial film that breathed new life into the genre and broke ground in the realistic portrayal of screen violence. It was promoted as a test screening of a new Western starring Oscar winner William Holden.
Outstanding film.
