The news:

Royals' Whit Merrifield extends hitting streak to 31 games, breaks club record

Believe it or not, our TKC blog community admires losing season achievement of the home team much more than fair weather fans.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

  1. Not a record, spread over two seasons - just publicity hype from a losing Team.

  2. Good luck Whit. He won’t be here long. Royals will trade him for a bunch of immigrants.

  3. It is a record a-hole. Like the last two times you got laid, counting last year.

  4. @7:17, you mis-spelled the last word, it's spelled n-i-g-h-t.

You're welcome, and Brett hit his 30 in one season, breaking DiMggio's one-season record. Learn at least something about Baseball.

    You misspelled DiMaggio dork.

You need to learn something about baseball. Joe DiMaggio's record is 56 games set in 1941 the same year Ted Williams hit .406. Don't spout off about something of which you know nothing. Congrats Whit.
