Gerard Dabu is a University of Missouri-Kansas City student charged with assault at an event featuring conservative commentator Michael Knowles Thursday. Jurors convict Kansas City man of stabbing his adult son to death

LIBERTY, MO (KCTV) -- A Northland man has been convicted of murdering his son by stabbing him to death. Kevin D. Leslie, 56, was convicted after a four-day jury trial. He is facing 30 years in prison for second-degree murder, and at 15 years in prison for armed criminal action.

He will be in court next week. He is currently being held in the Wyandotte County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
