Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes Buys $2-MILLION Local Homestead

Patrick Mahomes has found a permanent place to rest his head - and his ever-important arm - in Kansas City. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback bought a nearly $2 million home near the Mission Hills Country Club in Kansas City, according to Jackson County Property records.

Built in 1953, the 3,759-square-foot home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a master suite, a swimming pool and a hot tub.

According to Zillow, the home was sold for $1.9 million. The transaction closed on Feb. 8, according to the Jackson County Registry of Deeds.

  1. He should have gone with Travis Kelce to briarcliff. He snagged a 10 k sq ft pad with an awesome pool.

  2. That's just great no wonder everyone is leaving Mission Hills. Just what they need a chiefs player to move into the area. Will the police be giving away freebies when they are called to a disturbance there?

  3. Sounds comfy. It'll be a great place to rehab after he blows his knee out i week 2.

  5. Mission Hills Country Club is in Mission Hills Ks not Kansas City Mo. The house he bought is sort of near Mission Hill CC. I know of the former owners, a couple of guys and you all can fill in rest of that relation and be right. Location, location, location is only reason this place sold for that kind of money and trust me nothing fancy about it at all. Sure not worth the $512 per sq foot cost. Only cool part is the master suite which well over a 1000 sq ft in size almost half ot the total size of the whole place. Not a gated anything and place has zero privacy from the street or neighbors. Property taxes cost you a cool 16k plus a year. Hope he stays healthy

"Near Mission Hills" is a relative location. It could be only one to several blocks east of State Line. And, it's a mid-century built abode which sounds like a possible fill-in residence, when a larger estate lot got divided in the early 1950s. The south Plaza hood near Wornall and north of 63rd Street have several of those later built homes amidst the mostly 1910s through 1930s constructed residences.

Plus, those bountiful bucks Paddy gets paid could be spent on adding any custom features he desires. Installing a bigly fence with a security gate, and badass surveillance is likely underway, if not already completed.

  9. A good buy. He should be able to sell that quickly when he gets a free agent option.

  18. Well, looks like he did join kelce in briarcliff after all. Word is he bought the lot where the Garney mansion burnt to the ground. And the neighboring lots also. The property is on a hill with an amazing view of downtown KC skyline.
