GLADSTONE, Mo. -- A man in his 30s is dead, and Gladstone police are still looking for the driver who hit and killed him in the parking lot of a thrift store Tuesday night. The incident happened just after 7 p.m. near N.E. 74th Street and North Oak Trafficway.

Hit and Run leads to Lengthy Standoff
At approximately 1:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9, officers responded to the area near the Isle of Capri Casino at 1800 E. Front Street in regard to a hit and run collision in which a westbound Nissan pickup truck struck a white Cadillac Sedan that was turning left in to the casino parking lot.
