Mission Gateway could become a mecca for the NextGen but it's much more likely that NONE of these promises will materialize. Take a look:

The developers behind Mission Gateway have finalized a deal with Cinergy Entertainment, which will bring zip lines, bowling, escape rooms, ax throwing, games and a 10-auditorium movie theater. The 90,000-square-foot facility is one of the anchor tenants for the $100 million project at the corners of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Johnson Drive in Mission.
Ax throwing? Jeezus H. Christ. The locals already are killing each other right and left with guns. Who needs freaking axes added to the mix?

ReplyDelete6:37 nails it. This is going to bring the great unwashed in by the truckload. Sadly, people in that area have no idea what they’re in for.
ReplyDeleteSuch a dumb plan, why don't they just admit there is no funding coming. Build a community garden instead. More people might enjoy that.
